Wonderful man and doctor!
Dr Ludwig operated on the muscles of my eyes in 1996. I could not drive and reading was difficult. All went great and now 24 years later I still have almost perfect vision! Thank You Dr Ludwig. Col Ret Mike Wonner
Dr. Johnson is very technically proficient. I've visited twice and both times and was satisfactorily treated. She has a good bedside manner and easily identified my aliments. Highly recommended.
After 2 surgeries my eyes are worse than before surgery. Dr Ludwigs said I should “close one eye when driving” to alleviate my double vision. I am now facing additional surgery at Mayo Clinic to correct her surgeries.
I recently went for my Annual 6 mth Skin Cancer Check Up, yes I asked about one other Skin Issue. She ONLY addressed THAT one SIMPLE question and referred me. To which I was grateful, although I KNEW that OPTION was coming from my Other Dr. I have SERIOUS health issues, I pay out of pocket due to Insurance. She's been my Dermatologist for YEARS! I hate leaving this review because the services that I received were wonderful. The frustrating part was their lack of honesty on the cost of cataract surgery. We have a very high deductible and they knew that so they kept telling me the cost to make sure I was able to pay. The total cost they quoted me was between $3500-$4000. They never mentioned to me about the surgery center cost which is located in the same building. The surgery center cost was over $5000. Dr. Heersink is an amazing doctor! I have seen him for decades now and I will not see another doctor!
The most unthorough total body skin exams and check-ups I’ve ever received. Does not give you the proper patient care time to address your needs or concerns, in and out of the room quickly, seems too busy to actually sit down with you to properly evaluate and diagnose, not very personable, felt like a number rather than a patient, very unprofessional in evaluation, I will be going elsewhere. Waste of time.
Saw Dr. Johnson a few years back. Wanted to find out why I would break out in a rash and itch almost every day. I am a very clean and well groomed person. She was very rude. She acted like she didn't even want to touch me. (Just a basic itchy rash. Nothing gross.) She told me to go see someone else! I did and found out it I'm allergic to myself. I tell everyone even my current Dr. who agreed she can be that way sometimes. So I guess I'm not the first to be treated this way.
