Visited this area during Nuit Blanche 2025 and caught the light show, it looked fantastic against the backdrop of these historic silos. I believe they’ve been restored recently, and it’s great to see some life brought back to this part of the waterfront. A few years ago there were big plans to turn the area into an entertainment district, but sadly, not much progress has been made since then. Still, it’s a fascinating spot to visit and a reminder of Toronto’s industrial past.

The building used to be a storage structure for barley which the Canada Malting company would distribute to brewers.
