I love this place and the staff! I travel down to NC from Virginia Beach for work on a regular basis and typically bring my 13 year old corgi mix back and forth with me. Since we moved to the area about 18 months ago, we've had to bring our three dogs into the vet for routine and not-so-routine reasons. The team here is completely trustworthy and able to answer any and all questions we've had. Our dogs have always received great care. If you love your pet, do not take her to Companion Animal Hospital in Statesville N.C. My cat Zinnia was having some worrisome symptoms and since she is 22 years old I knew she could be approaching end of life. Beside myself with anxiety, I called a vet that a friend had recommended. The lobby was tiny and smelly, and several large dogs were there with owners. I checked in and stood in the corner, my body between the dogs and the cat carrier. We made an exception for you because you knew a staff member. You came into our hospital with a roar. You were loud, obnoxious and rude. I am not going to explain the amazing and true experiences that I have had personally with DR McCurry since 1994 because words can't define the phenomenon that occurred. I will just say that if he was not our vet, we would have prob. lost TIPPY before her first b-day! We owe you 15 yrs Dr Rob! From Stony Point to Statesville to Saturn, if need be! We will go where our Dr goes. His genuine knowledge, love, and care that he has and is still providing to our "mutts" is irreplaceable. thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
