We had a Trane 18 Seer installed late in 2021 by IRB Solutions of Greenville, Rhode Island. When its heat pump failed to work in September of 2022, IRB Solutions owner Matt Plante informed us it was a defective "temp sensor" and that he would order and install a new one. WE HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM SINCE AND IRB SOLUTIONS HAS EVIDENTLY GONE OUT OF BUSINESS. Phone calls and texts do not get returned and his place of business in Greenville appears to have been vacated.

I was having issues with getting a new nest thermostat to work with my current setup (wiring, boiler, etc). With a older home and old wiring the Nest wasn't turning the heat on. The technician Tom they sent was professional, on time, knowledgeable and even gave me some maintenance advice for my boiler. Price was fair and I will be looking to IRB Solutions for any future issues I may have.

I had problems with my heat on a Friday night after 7pm - I called IRB solutions and Matt answered the phone and was able to come out within an hour of my call. He was super professional and helpful, able to diagnose the problem quickly and offer me a (thankfully very easy) solution to a potentially reoccurring problem. He thoroughly explained the issues and solution options. He was also able to provide me with reasonable quotes for additional work I may want in the future.

Erik, Tyler, and Matt did a fantastic job diagnosing the problem, removing the old heater and setting up the new gas heating system. Took less than half a day and works like a charm. I will be using IRB solutions exclusively for this type of work. I recommend them highly.
