Been going to Ippy’s for years, food is always very good, but the younger server have a lot to learn. Waitress was below average, aloud beverage glasses to remain empty, no bread brought to the table till we asked right before leaving.
Ippy’s has always been my go to for an exceptional prime rib. I have even recommended it to friends for it’s melt in your mouth taste...Until tonight. Was really looking forward to it but after the first bite I realized someone must have changed the recipe. Tasted like half a bottle of liquid smoke had been put on the rind and in the Au Jus. So very disappointing.
Excellent food, atmosphere, and environment. The owner was working hard in the kitchen upon arrival. She made her way out to the floor for the entertainment and ran the establishment with top notch professionalism while still interacting with the customers making everyone feel welcome. I will go back and more often too

Impeccable service and food beyond measure. Steak the way it should be. Go for a meal in the restaurant and stay for music in the lounge with friends. Perfect combination.
I have a long history with Ippy’s; I celebrated my 13th birthday in the old location, my 21st birthday in the new location not long after it opened and last weekend friends and family celebrated my 40th birthday. The food is always amazing and the service is even better. This family run restaurant takes pride in everything they do. Order a steak...mid-rare is my preference...you will not be disappointed!
Celebrated several family birthdays last night and all of our food was excellent and service was very good, as is usual on the weekends. Worth the drive from Fieldale!
