I seldom write reviews unless it warranted and have ate at all ramen places in Durham but I regret not visiting Ippon sooner! Came on a Sunday evening for dinner and ordered the family meal (4 ramen, 4 apps, 4 drinks) for under $100….that’s exceptional value! Genuinely one of the best experiences I've had in a restaurant. The server and chef went above and beyond. At one point, my husband was giving our toddler an orange out of his drink (drink was very delicious btw) and the chef chopped up a separate orange slice for my toddler. Little positive comments throughout our interactions from the server made us feel welcome. They even offered to give us extra cups when they noticed that our toddler was having fun organizing ours.
