Overall, our home is ok, but make sure you check on the inspector your realtor uses and how much your realtor is willing to negotiate for you. We told our realtor we wanted a home with few major issues as we were new home owners. We had water in our basement the day after closing. Since then, we’ve had thousands in repairs and still trying to get rid of the issue. The purpose of an inspection is to help the new home owner.
