I dropped my phone off for repair on Monday, Nov 14 and was told that it would be ready in 4-6 days. I have been calling and going by the store since Saturday. The "mailbox is full" on their phone and I can't leave a reply and the store is locked up and dark, appearing as if they closed. I have been without my phone over a week with no answer from the company.
This was an easy and positive experience. I scheduled an appointment online and only had to wait about 2 hours after discovering the problem to take it in. The one technician was busy with another customer when I arrived for my appointment but finished in a few minutes. He was able to diagnose the problem with my macbook pro and fix it with an Apple part in-house within about 10 minutes. Well to make a long story, not so long, I lost over 700 songs on my iPhone after I synced it up to a computer that did not have those songs on it to begin with. Good news was, they were still on the original computer. Bad news, that computer was no longer working. So I bit the bullet and bought a MacBook Air. Here is where iOrchard comes in. The customer service was great when I first had my MacBook Pro looked at as the fan needed replacing. However, it was a completely different experience when I showed up the following morning as scheduled to have the computer actually worked on. The owner or manager there acted as if I was a bother since he had no idea I had an appointment. He then proceeded to try and charge me an additional $70 over what I had been quoted the day before.
