I don't know if this place changed over the years or not but this was one of the lousiest banks I've ever had an account at! I frequently had my card declined causing me embarrassment wherever I shopped and it was for no good reason! There was never any fraud or any risk of fraud but for some reason my card continually was declined when I was either taking my wife out to dinner, shopping for groceries or ordering takeout! I love this bank it's clean the people are nice and they help you when needed is excellent Bank to go too
Let me start off by saying that the managers and staff at this bank are amazing and the only reason I still have an account there. My concerns are with corporate. The Ansonia location originally had two atm’s. When they upgraded them, they removed to one in front, only leaving one in the drive through. Due to the very narrow drive through lane, if you have an oversized vehicle, it leaves you no option but to walk up to it. Very disappointed in their customer service inside of bank after teller stated my account was closed prior to asking me to confirm additional info. My account was NOT closed she just couldn't find my name correctly. Teller became defensive when I corrected them that I had just received my paycheck that same day and so how could my accountbe closed? Now the only one ATM is out of service and now today is a bank holiday so unable to take out cash
