I went to see Dr. Smith as a VA community referral. She is truly a great doctor and her staff does a fantastic job of communication through the MyChart app (highly highly recommend spending the time to set that up right when you start working with them). Dr Smith saved my husband's life. He had been unable to eat food without vomiting for several months and he was wasting away before my eyes. After a telehealth follow up appointment she called us on a Sunday morning. She told me that she had been thinking about my husband and the fact that he was only eating ice chips.
