I can't stress enough that DO NOT lease from Invitation Home. This is the most unprofessional and uncaring leasing company I have ever dealt with in my whole life. No sense of urgency to resolve repairs or issues even when the city fire marshal is evolved. I have been waiting on city violations to be resolved for 6 weeks and it was deemed urgent. Now I am dealing with a broke central air conditioner going on 4 days. They have been told several times in the past 4 days that my wife is ill and cannot handle the 84 degree heat ... read more

We shouldn’t have been living in the house we rented, it was neglected. Nightmare four months and we had no choice other than to break our lease. 1. Flooded basement immediately after move in. Found out it was sewage from the plumbing not being repaired before we moved in. Invitation Homes refused to clean it correctly and tear out dated, moldy walls. 2. Plumbing was blocked, causing the sewage to back up. It took them days to address it, not able to use the water or bathroom. No urgency. 3. Dead trees, full gutters and garb... read more

DO NOT RENT FROM INVITATION HOMES: They do not prioritize big repairs like roof damage from Hurricane Milton over my daughter's bedroom. (delayed and ignored for 8 months!!) They have not refunded my deposit according to my state law and section 4.1 in their own lease. It's been almost 2 months. They also did not follow through with "balance forgiveness" they offered on June 17, 2025. Invitation Homes is not a renter friendly company.
