I deeply regret to express my dissatisfaction with Invitation Homes based on my recent tenure as a tenant in Hollywood, Florida. Despite having rented the property since July 2023, my experience has been marred by persistent and unresolved maintenance issues that have severely compromised the habitability and safety of the premises. My A/C went out back in May. It took 3 visits to get it working. That's 3 vacation days I had to take. The tech told Invitation Mgt that the unit needs to be replaced on the first visit. Didn't happen.Two visits and two weeks later, it finally gets fixed. Now comes October 21st. I turn on my heat for the first time of the season and nothing. It takes four, yes 4, visits to finally replace the antiquated unit that they were told needed replacing back in May. That's another four vacation days used for a total of 7 days. The properties that they were renting I was really happy about that,but they lost my security deposit and application fee that they said they never received which I had all receipts for,once moving into the property it looks really nice on the outside and inside but going into the backyard it was dog feces and toys and everything just in the dirt that wasn't part of the dirt, like weights the whole backyard was nothing but just muddy dirt. Shady! I was told they had not received an application for a property so we completed one online, and paid the $90. application fee. I even called the office to make sure the house was still available, and was told "yes". The day after, they said they had already received an application, and would be returning our $90.00. It has been over a month and we have not received our $ Just called today and told it was sent to "processing" and would be sent our in two weeks. The same BS I was told a month ago! Ive been with them a while....i think they are hands down tge easiest to deal with.if not for them i woukd have had to get rid of my pets when we had to move....repairs are ALWAYS made immediatly. I dont have one complaint.they work with me during hard financial times not look to throw me out. They have houses all over so know your areas.....id recommend them highly

They don't return calls in a timely manner. Their remodeled houses look nice but the fix jobs are total crap. Things break within months and have to be fixed. Our ac has gone out more than once, this time it's totally broken, has been for about two weeks now, and for the past week we have been sitting in this house while the temp is 85 INSIDE THE HOUSE and they are not very concerned with fixing it any time soon. The office people are very friendly and helpful, we love our new place and would tell others to use this company.... but their representative who is the one that you're supposed to deal with and get all your information was completely negligent. Had several issues during the application process, after a lot of frustration i called into the office for more info. they straightened everything out in 5 min over the phone... we're still finding things that he did wrong or should have told us 3 months later... so i would recommend... read more

I love this place! they have been extremely helpful the whole way thru with us finding a new home! The lady Samantha we have been working with is awesome! she has always called me back when Ive left messages and has kept us up to date on everything. We move into our new house tomorrow. I'm so happy we have found invitation homes.
