If you are considering renting from Investment Management Co. of Santa Monica (or are already renting) I highly encourage you to read this entire review. It’s not obvious from their website, but along with market apartments, IMC also has a sizable portfolio of luxury homes that they rent for top dollar. They are entirely clueless to very basic concepts of maintenance. They have made a once nice place to live into an unsafe and unhealthy place to live. After immediately raising rent they have failed to complete anything other than to make things worse.
I would rather die than use this property management company again. They are shady, ignore emails that dare go against what they say, don’t return calls or fulfill requests in a timely manner, if at all. You will get taken advantage of for every penny they can get out of you in order to spruce up the apartment you moved from, no matter what condition you leave the apartment in or how long you lived there.
