I don't recommend purchasing from Maronda. They push building so fast and use cheap contractors. Been in my home since September. Still waiting on repairs. Poor construction. Poor management. Poor closing procedures. Don't care about customers once they get their money. Worst contractors I've dealt with. I have had custom homes, I've remodeled, I've bought from Landstar, Lennar and Maronda/Focus. Maronda not worth the money, headaches and hassles. Other alternatives would be better. Edited. Response to Maronda Response: We asked to have Brandon, the only sufficient drywall installer thus far, come back and fix the issues Felix caused, to which Bob denied and said that was against the book. I have since blocked Bob as I have had enough of being jerked around by the incompetence of Maronda’s “leadership” team. After 8 weeks of continued repairs, which were promised to be a rally of 3 days, we are left with something that looks almost as bad, and in some areas, much worse, than our original slanted walls. We agreed to let them tear into our living room and entry walls, 3 in total, after Jeff was assigned our house. He seemed really nice and helpful and as though he actually cared.
