Inverell “Hospital” - a “hospital” not even equipped to carry out first aid apparently. They saw my son who had a shattered wrist (which now has plates and screws holding it together), and multiple nasty grazes, and merely told him he would need to go to Armidale Hospital. No bandage, no sling and no pain relief , not even a Panadol! Absolutely appalling.
Most unprofessional and neglect staff I have ever found.
Inverell Hospital is honestly a joke. The nurses and security staff do a great job, but the doctors… where on earth do they find these people? If you actually want to be listened to, treated with respect, and get proper medical help, I strongly recommend driving straight to Armidale or Tamworth. At Armidale and Tamworth, I’ve never had a bad experience – the doctors there listen, don’t judge, and provide real help. Very understaffed ER .No doctor seen me after waiting for 4 hours,was told I should have gone to my GP.Thats a joke ,can't get appointment with any gp in Inverell. The GP clinic at Hospital also a joke,1 overworked doctor,couldn't even write me a prescription for my current medication. Lovely nurse at Clinic reception was very good but .
