Mr Sonny is AWESOME. He will not just take your side just because you're the parent, he challenges you to think outside your normal process. He holds the kid accountable to what they said and he finds what speaks to them and uses that to build the relationship of trust, so they are willing to take his advice. He is great for all that participate in the session, but you have to participate.
I would highly recommend this professional and highly qualified mental health practitioner to anyone in need of behavioral health services. He's a counselor to my family member. Mr. Etienne is thorough, he listens, shows compassion, is not judgmental, shows respect, seeks solutions, and gives hope. If I could give more than 5/5 stars, I certainly would!
I have had the pleasure of working with Sonny for the past almost 2 years. I have been to many therapists, and there is no one quite like him. He is hands down the most caring and genuinely kind soul in this profession, that I have ever encountered. He continues to help me on a weekly basis navigate some very difficult things in my life. I have referred several friends to him. I can't say enough great things about him and I highly, highly recommend him to anyone who may be struggling.
Sonny is the best! He is a therapist who really cares about the people he serves. He has great insight and has a gift that enables him to see to the root of a person's issues.
