To anyone looking for a treatment center for themselves or their loved ones; I urge you to please look elsewhere. This is not somewhere you’d want to be during such a vulnerable time in your life. Countless experiences of staff talking poorly about clients, unsafe and uncomfortable living quarters, lies on behalf of upper management to essentially get your money, and the list goes on. I came into intrepid January 13th 2026 at the end of a month long spree on alcohol. One of many. I traveled 987 miles and really don’t remember much of the trip to Florida. I was angry, bitter, and wanted to be anywhere except there and in my own skin. I just wanted to die. Staff greeted me with kindness and an understanding. They showed me patience while I detoxed. Fantastic clinical staff that really care about each persons wellbeing and recovery. There are many places to choose from in south Florida now a days, but not many great places that truly care about you. If you’re ready to get better, this is a great place to do it.
I had an amazing experience with intrepid. The staff provides great support and really helped me get my feet under me with my sobriety. The therapists were extremely helpful and catered individually to clients, BHTs shared their experience and advice and it was clear they truly care about clients, alumni staff continues to provide support and encourage a sense of community among alumni. I highly recommend Intrepid to anyone who’s seriously looking to recover and get their life back on track.
I would highly recommend anybody to come to this place if they need help. Kaitlyn the tech and Courtney is a case manager are major helps there
