Dr Purtzer is a very special man. He is an excellent Doctor who understands that a pain barely tolerable can be withstood for a short time is to chronic pain as a sniffle is to pneumonia. Because of his understanding of humane nature along with a willingness to listen I am no longer chained to a clock and a bottle of pills. He did not force me to stop using them. he guided me to accept the part of me that hurts. I am no longer surrounded by my pain.He has been my Doctor for 11 years I trust him more than I trust myself
