Dr. Uzo himself is fine, other than just throwing pain pills at me. The office though, is one of the most unprofessional institutions I’ve ever dealt with. No one in the office is caring or can even return phone calls. I had to call four times for an appointment and was asked for more than double the payment than I was told about. I ended up having surgery and I’m so glad to don’t have to work with them any more.
My doctor retired without giving any warning or notification to me. I found IPS and my experience has been unremarkable. The front office always seemed to be in disarray. Phones system is definitely a problem area. HOWEVER, there has been one employee that has gone way beyond the call of duty. AMBER CANTU. She has called me after hours when I had Rx problems with the pharmacy. Called me to fix problems with appointments. AND, sends email ever so often to see if I’m IPS is taking care of me ok. Very friendly, staff and doctors. Anita Gonzales really cares about her patients. Front desk ladies are always friendly. Usually in and out never have to wait long.
For the sake of you and your family's well being, DO NOT go here. I recently had triple vertibrea fusion and ended up here. Upon agreeing on a treatment plan with their doctor, they sent scripts for a FAR smaller treatment plan than was agreed upon. It should be noted, I even asked for a smaller plan than what they had offered. I attempted to reach out to their office for 5 days without even a phone call back. Hands down the worst run Dr's office I have ever been to in my life. I would not recommend this place to anyone even as a last resort. The hoops we have to jump through are absolutely ludicrous and at no point in time has anyone taken a single step to solve any of the problems that they have created.
