The first visit was conducted by an MA who told me my diagnosis and wanted to plan for an Epidural. I refused, as I had only done X-rays, not PT, and noted she was not a doctor. Next, I saw PA- S. Tymchuk, who was just pushing for the sale of an epidural as well. She was horrible. I was in a lot of pain and explained that this procedure. Seemed premature without further testing. I was scheduled to see Dr. Shaw for a F/U and saw a nasty PA who did not have any intention of caring for me. Something concerning showed up on my MRI, and she tried to shove me out the door to an oncologist without providing me with a script or referral for a test that the doctor would need prior. Dr. Shah yelled at me because I had forgotten the full scope of what we discussed regarding Facet injections three weeks earlier. I have had spine surgery and am in chronic pain all the time.
