Dec-07 Interstate did a routine HVAC checkup & told us that our HVAC?s Heat Exchanger had a rust hole (the 1st we had heard of this, though they?ve checked 2x/yr since 2005), & that it may produce carbon monoxide. It was an expensive fix ($600), but we did it. Later, the HVAC?s fan ran continuously without heat. An Interstate tech came out & diagnosed that either the main circuit board or a switch had broken. We were told that the switch (~$100) was OK, leaving the circuit board ($600 +!!!) the problem. We were not intereste... read more
