Dr Luwani was assigned to me during a recent ICU hospital stay. I am very disappointed in my care and treatment. He spent the minimum amount of time he could, with little to no explanation of my condition or treatment plan. Several of my nurses attempted to get information from him. He was rude and asked questions of the nursing staff that any Med student should be able to answer. ICU Nurses should not have had to apologize for Dr Luwanis performance and care. I love Dr. Hunte! Not only is he my Mom's doctor, he has been my doctor for at least 15 - 20 years. Not only does he offer advise, he listens and he does everything he can to satisfy your concerns. He is never pushy with one option of treatment, which is one of the main things I love about him. Furthermore, his staff has always been helpful, informational and friendly! I refer him to everyone I know!
Dr. Hunte is one of the best doctors I've ever met. He has a huge heart, is compassionate and knowledgeable. He never rushes me. Always listens. And goes above and beyond his duties as a doctor. I drive over an hour to see him and honestly would drive as far as I had to. He is truly an angel working here on earth.
I have referred many people to Dr. Hunte. His office is full and sometimes I have to wait about 30 minutes but it's okay. Dr. Hunte takes the time to listen and is concerned about you.
