Visited with friends early September -16, and coming all the way from Sweden we didn't really know what to expect. However this place exceeded my expectations by having a very serious and somewhat sceptical approach to certain things which to me is a healthy thing. Smaller than I expected it to be though, but wasn't crowded until a loud group of people entered the building. Souvenirs are plentiful and varying. Surprised to see ANY negative reviews! It was great! $5 for me, $2 for my 10 year old, and free for my toddler. We were so lucky to see this on our way back home. We just went in August 2016 and it was very clean. So much fun and definitely worth it!!
Plan on 1.5-3 hrs depending on how much you want to read. Very interesting info.
I found it most interesting. The history and research they have there is amazing! It is definitely worth the $5 dollars for all day. The alien display is creepy but so lifelike

My family (Husband & two teens) and I visited this museum March 17, 2016. We found the Museum to be dusty and a bit dirty too. The gift shop was dreadfully dusty housing merchandise that needs to be updated. The rest of the Museum could use a good cleaning & upkeep on the artifacts. When you leave the Museum people who received a sticker to enter the gift shop take them off a stick them to the wall just outside the exit so its covered it torn stickers as they have no trash can available. Loved the museum. It was very informative and interesting. There were many things to look at and read with affidavits that told the story of what happened there so many years ago.... Would love to visit Roswell, NM again soon!!!!
