Got to see Thistle Dew perform here. Love everything about the Center. The storytellers all are top notch.
My husband and I are from California. We cruised around the grounds strangers in a rural land-rich with exaggeration and tall tales. We found good food, friendly faces and laughter and tears beneath the tents. I didn't get the feeling there were many people from L.A. It's a broader kind of storytelling here....in L.A. and N.Y the telling is reality "Moth" style. We are going back this year. We are fans of Kathy Mattea-so that's a bonus!
