As an out-of-state bride, I was very heavily reliant on the recommendations that I was given. I was getting married at the church I was baptized in, so they recommended International Garden, since this is the florist they also use. I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID!! I used them for my rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception. I kept all my florals to a minimum, as I did not want to fight with the beautiful locations that I was getting married in. I used to go here for my floral needs, until one day, the female owner threw a fit at me for simply asking if the prices are negotiable. In the past, they had been flexible with prices, like most shops in the Flower District, so my question wasn’t out of place. All she had to say was, “no”.
