Very helpful service representatives. They helped me to figure out what the IRS did wrong and gave me clear instructions on how to start the process to fix things. Sadly, the taxpayer assistance center workers cannot correct even the simplest error. They do a great job with giving advice and receiving forms or payments.
The irs is so slow with getting refunds out. It doesn't take a rocket science to do the reviews for taxes.
I would give no stars or negative stars if I could. Two calls to the automated answering line wasted my time and were slow and frustrating. It kept asking for impertinent information and there was no way to back out and get to what I needed. A third call to the appointment line when they were open said I'd have a 30 to 60 min wait. A little over TWO HOURS of being on hold, an automated voice said they couldn't take my call, and disconnected me. (?!)
