Went to see Dr. Kuo for routine appt., upon arrival I was informed my appoint was yesterday> I explained that I have been ill with bronchitis and mixed up the dates. Asked if I could be squeezed in today, informed by Dr. Kuo's assistant that Feb 3rd was first available appt. When I asked again if I could be seen today, I was rudely told, "you missed your appointment". I left the office coughing and in tears. I have left a message for the office manager but have not received a return call after 4 hours.

This past Monday I started experiencing a severe headache that was very different from any other headache that I have ever had. I thought I would feel better after I got some rest. But was very wrong I called my PCP, Dr. Lowentritt, and he said to come in for 8:30. He checked me out and personally wheeled me over to Touro Emergency Room. He acted quickly to get me the testing that I needed to diagnose and treat my illness. PS: his office hours usually start at 10:00 not 8:30! A big shout out to Dr. Joshua Lowentritt
