Where to begin this review. Last year took my son to his first appointment at Internal Medicine practice in Tavares. It was not the experience that I had expected. I was pretty disappointed and upset when I left there. My special needs son had his annual pop-up and I considered finding a different doctor to take him to but I wanted to give them a second chance. Had two Appointments for my 19 year old special needs son. The first one with Dr Winnie went well. She informed me she would no longer be practicing there. My son has needed health shakes due to being extremely thin and not being able to keep weight on despite of everything I've tried. I never had any Issues with Tavares Pediatrics. However Florida Sunshine no longer is on their Network so I had to switch doctors. Worst personal care physician I've ever had. Doctor abu refused to sign paperwork allowing me to continue to get my new prosthetic. He continuously argued with my surgeon and prosthetic doctor saying that he's not responsible when my surgeon signed over the care to him on document. He's lucky I'm missing a leg and a arm. Aggravates me to see someone care so little.
my wife went in to see the dr for pain. She paid the 85 dollar co pay and was told he would not do anything for her. wasted money and trip.
Dr. Abu is a terrible doctor I don’t know how he got his license you go there sick and come out sick, his attitude towards patients really stink, you tell him how your feeling and he just writes it down doesn’t give you any medication for what your telling him is wrong with you, I’m looking for another doctor like Dr. Miller. The only think nice about that place is his staff.
