I’ve been to this clinic twice now, and both experiences were disappointing, especially the most recent one. I have ongoing health concerns: low vitamin D, chronic pain, fatigue, and with mental health factors that make consistency with treatment difficult. I was hoping to find a provider who would actually listen, review my history, and help me come up with a plan. Felt incredibly dismissed. Waited 30 minutes for a 3-minute call that resulted in absolutely no help with I was told to go back to the original provider I had already seen something that could have been communicated before charging me. I was seeking support for ongoing pain and was met with dismissiveness instead of care.
The provider I saw was fantastic and professional. I would give her 5 stars; however, the massive Village Medical company is poorly run. You can’t reach the actual office to ask basic questions, such as hours for their lab or other lab locations you can take the lab order. I was transferred around to 4 people, and the first individual couldn’t even understand basic requests and kept trying to schedule an appointment. I stopped in last month for my annual physical and was disheartened by this standard issue practice of medical facilities regulating " first time" patients to some standard 10-15 minute appointment time with a practitioner despite me clearly scheduling an annual physical. I found Nurse Practitioner Angela Carney to be a know it all who spoke more than she listened and when I clocked that she repeatedly kept interrupting me mid sentence, she took to speaking to me in the tone of a simpleton which is pretty standard issues whi... read more
