So far this past year I have had nothing but great experiences with this hospital and their doctors. They have helped me more in this past year than U of U has done for me in the past five years. Everybody has been wonderful, attentive, explain everything, happy and cheerful and friendly.
Went to the Riverton er yesterday for a pancreatitis attack. Dr Alisa Fujhashi came in to talk to me and ask me questions. She didn’t want to hear anything I said and was actually rude. I’ve had pancreatitis attacks 2 other times and I knew what this was. Instead she Gave me an ekg and would not give me pain or nausea medicine. I kept asking and finally she gave me a fentanyl shot. Is this the worst ER in Utah? They're trying hard for that title. Wife went to the Instacare with an allergic reaction. They determined anaphylaxis and gave her epinephrine. After she rebounded, they gave her another shot and took her to the ER where they told me they'd need to observe her for several hours. We sat in the waiting room for a while, and since I knew she'd be there for a few hours I drove the kids to a nearby family member's home. Would not help with pain after a big car crash
The Riverton ER is just the best. I had such caring and compassionate treatment when I went there at midnight Tuesday because nine yellow jacket bites had me in very bad shape. It was impressive and I was grateful for such good care.
