I came here as a last resort after seeing several other medical professionals and lactation specialists and even being prescribed things that didn’t work to heal my nipples. What I was experiencing was something I had never heard of before even on my third baby/breastfeeding journey. The consultants here are literal angels!! They have helped me on 3 separate occasions. My baby hadn’t eaten in almost 6 hours and I was a mess, they taught me how to get him to latch properly and made sure he was full before I left. They also helped me heal horribly cracked nipples (to the point of bleeding) and helped me save my low supply. Forever grateful that we came here for help! We met with Nickie (who is incredible) twice and I can honestly say she is the reason I am still breastfeeding. It was always informative and encouraging to meet with her. I know everyone’s breastfeeding experience is different, but I would recommend everyone at least try to meet with a lactation specialist at the Orem Clinic!
I was here 5 years ago, and while that might seem irrelevant to put a review now, there's a very specific reason I'm coming back 5 years later to leave a review. I went to 2 lactation consultants, an OBGYN, and a general practitioner before finally being heard by the general practitioner when I expressed the troubles I was having with breastfeeding my baby.
