I recently had the pleasure of visiting the wound care department at Riverton Hospital, and I can confidently say it was one of the best healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and offered a beverage—an incredibly thoughtful touch that made me feel at ease right away, something I’ve never encountered in a doctor’s office before. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was genuinely cheerful. The nurse who attended to me was not only professional but also radiated... read more

To same I was overwhelmed by the treatment I received at the Wound Care Clinic at the Riverton would be an understatement. The team here made me feel so special. They were attentive to my every need. The staff was empathetic to my care. The job they do is not for everyone yet they take on the tasks with skilled care. I became very attached to the team there, and it when it came to my last day there it was so hard to say goodbye. Dr. Robins and his team will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you so much for all y... read more

Every single person who works at Riverton Hospital Wound Care Clinic is AWESOME! This is not an easy job. In my case the only way to help hurt! They were so good to explain what needed to be done, why it needed to be done, and what the expected outcome would be. It takes time, many visits, some tears, and lots of bandages! I will always be grateful for the incredible care I have received and continue to receive. They are the best!! Hats off to the “professional scab pickers” 😁

I have been going to the Wound Clinic at IMC Riverton Hospital since December 5th, 2024, for an injury I sustained in October. Today is 1/1/25. I've had to go 3 to 2 times a week for treatment. They've been using negative pressure wound therapy (basically a vacuum system) for a deep wound on my leg. This treatment has worked and my wound is basically healed! I believe I'll be done with this VAC treatment on 1/2/25. I understand that some kind of collagen treatment is next. I could not be more pleased with the treatment I've ... read more

I was referred to the wound clinic by my podiatrist for a foot ulcer that had gotten worse then he was able to treat. The service and treatment that I received is second to none and the physicians and staff that treated me were very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this wound clinic for anyone who is in need of special treatment… they are fantastic!
