STAY AWAY from the office on Indiana (Hematology). If you do decide to go there, BEWARE of the facility fee that they charge, but do not inform you of. I went in for a yearly follow up of blood work, which could have been accomplished with a message in my portal as all was normal. I spent 10 minutes in the room w/ the Dr making small talk and then received a bill for over $400.00!! The care I received was ok, but I will never come back here again. I was charged over 2 weeks of pay for a 1 hour apt with a hematologist (just talking), and 1 therapeutic phlebotomy which HE ordered. The phlebotomy should cost around $250 (check google), yet they charged me over $1400 for it. This is with insurance... When I asked for an itemized bill I received nothing (other then a bill with the total amount stating it was due). The new facility is beautiful, the entire team is very friendly and took great care of my mom while she was receiving treatment. Special shout out to Lynn! She has an excellent approach and her bedside manner is top notch!

Sadly this was not the best experience for my mother dying of breast cancer. My family and I felt as if everything was “rushed “ ... we felt as if the doctors had given up . Walked in the room to find my mother laying half way off of the bed.. can you imagine that ? Your loved one already dying laying half way off of the bed due to no one checking on her for hours .. This was before the pandemic... all we asked is to be treated like human beings. We forgive the staff at Lutheran hospital. Do better guys ..
