We've had three emergency room visits here — two with our kids. If you have children needing an emergency room visit, just take them to Primary Children's in SLC. This hospital's ER isn't great with kids. We took our daughter here for an InstaCare visit after she was bruised pretty badly in a bike accident. They directed us to the ER. They didn't even dress the wounds in the ER, even though they said they would. Maybe it was for the best because, you know, who knows what that would have cost. The intake staff was nice, my nurse was nice but the Dr did not have any bedside manner at all. He didn’t even give me the results of my MRI and just brushed me off to schedule surgery with my obgyn. Told me I had fibroids, didn’t say how many, what size or where they were located-just schedule surgery with your obgyn. You sir are a danger to patients and a medical malpractice waiting to happen for insurance. They also would not prescribe medication for my pain while I “scheduled” my surgery with my obgyn. Why is it that ever ER you will be here all day, or at least 5 hours that’s enough to be a shift. This is ridiculous maybe they actually need to hire people to get things going, I shouldn’t have to wait 4 hours for simple things just to be told I’m fine
Don’t recommend using this hospital if you have a preterm baby. We had our baby preterm and the hospital staff does not seem to know the laws or procedures about the birth certificate. I was hospitalized for four days after delivery and we kept asking them how long we have to pick a name and they told several times not till baby is discharged and our baby will be in the nicu for weeks.
