Kids care is a joke. Only one pediatrician was there when we went. We were told it would be only a 10 minute wait time.. waited for an hour until we saw an MD who you could tell wasn't comfortable around kids and dismissed us as quickly as possible not allowing me to really ask any questions I had. Save your time and go else where.
They said it's $172 to see the pediatrician and tests cost extra. The second place I looked was $110 to see the doctor and the test we needed was included in the cost. Either the people at the counter don't know what they are talking about or the pricing is ridiculous. I'm glad I researched prices before going. A trip to urgent care should be between $75 and $150. Please do not overpay if it is not an emergency. Call around and ask before you go to urgent care.
The staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. There was no wait when we got there but a very urgent case came in and got put ahead of us. The doc came out to the waiting room to check on my son and see how he was, knowing it might be a little longer before we could get in. She ended up getting us into a room sooner. We got stitches and back on the road in under an hour.
We went to the new kids care today that Alta view just built and we waited for two hours in line and they were calling people up ahead of us that got there after we did we waited for so long it just got to the point that we just got up and left they need to better manage this place
