I grew up in Chicago where people are serious about pizza. Intermezzo has the best pizza i ever had! Quatro formaggi, spinach supreme, they're all excellent! Plus they make their own bread, grind their own meat, and don't even have a freezor so everything is totally fresh.
Never had Serbian food before and cant even remember the name of the plate I had. Ignorant on my part I know. All I can say is you wont be disappointed. Great food, great bar.
Ate there yesterday with 5 other friends and we each shared an authentic dish. Everything was excellent from service to food and wine in between!
Extremely disappointed - a Margherita pizza is simple yes, but it's traditionally packed with flavor via the simple 3 ingredients - here, the alleged freshly sliced tomatoes had less flavor than water; the so-called house made mozzarella tasted more like unflavored tofu & well, there was no fresh basil...really??! And this is a Pizzeria...N O T...I guess next time, we'll go the extra blocks to Fuel or Peel. :(
this place is a jewel. lovely lit little cavern in PlazaMidwood. the vibe is swanky and chill. the food is savory and delicious. try the veggie lasagna! ...and then go back and try something else again and again.
