UPDATE: I finally got in touch and was able to schedule an appointment - which was months away (not good for an acute health concern). The day I was scheduled to have my appointment, they called and cancelled it. The only option to reschedule was an additional two weeks later at a time that is extremely inconvenient for me. I tried calling back to see if I could reschedule to a time that works with my schedule and waited on hold for 20 minutes and got no answer. I saw midwives Maud and Lauren for my high risk pregnancy with my first baby. They were amazing. From my first appointment to my urgent C-section at 36 weeks, to my postpartum care they took the absolute best and compassionate care of me. They both thoroughly explained every step of everything they did, kept me in the loop on all test results, stayed late at the hospital after their shift ended to be involved in my birth, and helped me choose the appropriate birth control after the birth of my daughter. I called to make an appointment as a new patient (I had a blood test with a different provider who I asked I follow up with a gynecologist and Dr. Lavoie was recommended by my PCP) and I waited on hold for 10 minutes only to have the person tell me that everyone who can schedule an appointment is on vacation for at least the next week. I asked if someone else might be able to help and the only option was to leave a message for when the schedulers return.
