My husband was seen by Dr Shah and several others over the years as his CKD got worse. Everyone there was always helpful and took the time to answer all of our questions. Their staff was so kind to me as well when he was in the hospital for an extended time and had to start emergency dialysis.
Intermed Consultants is a very good Professional clinic. I met Dr.Rajiv Shah when I was hospitalized with Chronic kidney disease (CKD). I thought he was great. So I was disappointed when he passed me on to another doctor in his clinic, Dr. Teija Madhusoodanan. My relationship with Dr Madhusoodan was been great. I have been been this group for 20+ years. Dr.Tolins is the best doctor I have ever received care from. I see a team of doctors including the Mayo and this group runs circles around the rest! Nicole and Veronica who are part of his team go above and beyond the call of duty. Responsive, knowledgeable and KIND. From the front desk staff to lab techs this is truly a well run health clinic. I was very disappointed with the lack of responsiveness by the front desk and nurse staff. My pharmacy reached out to get a refill of a prescription i needed, but InterMed did not respond. I called a day later and was assured the prescription would be filled — it wasn’t. The next day I get a voice message from the nurse saying the Dr assumes i will be following up with my primary for refills as i had not had a follow up appt in 1.5 years (although I did have lab work in 2021). Dr. Connair was wonderful. The staff, including lab and front desk were not professional. Actually, disrespectful and argumentative. I was chastized for not following instructions, but in fact I was given improper instructions. I had an advocate with me for my appointment, who backed up exactly what I was told regarding a 24 hour urine collection. Horrible experience. Incident Monday, August 1, 2022.
