This hotel is badly in need of facelift. Rooms are noticeably well used and service is poor at best. Not a true presentation of the normal for a Portfolio hotel. Last stay - no ice, unless you go directly to lounge in lobby. Room did not have a usb port for phone/tablet charging. Looked as though some animal had chewed on legs of desk and tv stand. Will be last stay at this site
The food is excellent, the staff superb and the rooms, with a tweak or two would be as close to perfect as a business hotel could be. I just ran a two day meeting for 150 people at the Westshore Grand, staying there as well. The prices were reasonable, the facilities were clean, and the service was, without exception, outstanding and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. While the decor may be a bit dated, it is clean. Food was maybe a step above average kind of small entree sizes. I attended a day long conference with the dinner. The conference room was adequate decent size and it never got too terribly cold. Only complaint was after 10 AM, there was no more coffee or iced tea. Maybe that was due to the event coordinator cutting cost, but it would’ve been nice to have had something especially afternoon refreshments.
