Overall a good stay. Rooms were nice and clean. The hotel definitely shows signs of age. I thought the food on property was terrible.
Great stay overall. As a Marriott Bonvoy elite member, I really felt recognized — the upgrade was a nice touch and much appreciated. The staff were amazing: warm, respectful, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. Big thanks to the whole team for making it easy and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this property and will be back.
Rating: I recently stayed at the Renaissance Dallas and was thoroughly impressed by both the facility and the team. Having stayed at several Renaissance properties, I found this location to be consistent with the brand's high standards—it was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and notably, there were no lingering odors or 'old hotel' smells that you sometimes find elsewhere. Overall a good experience. For the week I was there, elevator buttons on one wall on all floors did not work and only the lobby had a sign. One of the escalators from the lobby to the ballroom level was out of order. The hotel has a very good AC system and it can be chilly.
If you’re looking for a quality place to stay in Addison, look elsewhere. This was a disappointing experience across the board. The property is poorly maintained—dirty hallways, a broken escalator, and no working AC. There was also a roof leak that led to flooding in the parking garage. Instead of proper hotel communication, someone from a separate event was sent to locate car owners in the basement—no staff outreach, no announcement.
