I am giving this hotel, one star solely based off of the service received. My spouse and I are elite member members of Marriott and had a very negative experience with the staff as we were not only profiled, but also accused of smoking in the room, which we absolutely were not! I would not recommend staying at this hotel!!!!
Do not trust this hotel. Was double charged after I provided third party reservation number. Absolutely lied to and double charged.
I had the pleasure of staying at Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel during the crazy snowstorm when travel plans went out the window and many of us were unexpectedly stranded and I honestly can’t say enough good things about how the staff handled it. We had a horrible experience at this hotel. Room was booked months in advance for a conference that was at this hotel, unfortunately, upon arrival, I was told there was a flood and they did not have a room available, but was offered a voucher for a old, grunge, dated, 2 star hotel about four miles away. When I asked for something of equal or better value as the room I was booked for at a nearby Marriott hotel, I was told that wasn’t an option. This was our first experience in Texas, coming from British Columbia Canada for a work conference. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Lobby is always clean and smells fresh. Our room was clean, a bit dated and could use some renos. The bathroom was the only part of our room that had been updated for a while by the looks of it. Beds are comfy.
