I was approached by a recruiter named Rick Gurka who discussed the job with me and inquired about my qualifications. He requested that I send my resume to him right away, which I did promptly. However, despite following up for an update, I never heard back from him. It's experiences like this that really sour my opinion of some recruiters. I would stay away real bad!
I was recently contacted via LinkedIn by one of their new employees. He chose to start his introduction to me with "Happy Hump Day". While it was indeed Wednesday, this is an extremely inappropriate introduction from a stranger, let alone from a man who is representing a Certified Women's Business in a professional setting.
