Six years ago in 2012 I was told by a dental hygienist in this practice that I had periodontal disease and needed root planing and Arestin treatment. The dentist working in the office that day had not even seen me yet. I have seen a dentist for cleanings every six months for my entire life and no one has ever said anything about gum disease. I was told I needed to have cavities filled, I have bad teeth and would probably need a root canal. This was completely contradictory to any other dentist I had ever visited. When I told them this I was asked if I had been eating a lot of chocolate (I had not). I just went to a real dentist today and not only do I not need a root canal I still don't have cavities. I'm glad I was smart enough no question them and not have unnecessary surgeries.
