My son is currently hospitalized at OU Children’s with necrotizing pneumonia and requires surgery after being discharged from Integris Baptist twice and turned away once at the ER. In our experience, his condition was not recognized, care was not escalated appropriately, and he was not treated appropriately during multiple visits. This hospital is extremely incompetent.
I was forced to have my baby here due to having an emergency C section, but at first they rejected me before I had a seizure and was needing a new prenatal doctor. They did not communicate with me WHAT SO EVER. I am traumatized. They put me in an ambulance from Altus and then They wheeled me into the room and put me on the table then put the epidural in. after that nobody told me ANYTHING. 4 yo had RSV and O2 dropped to mid 80s. He was at this hospital when he was 2 for the same thing and ended up in the ICU. They did a great job that time. That went into our decision to come here. Completely different experience this time. This time we were rushed out on Day 3 during the day when his O2 was only at 92 and knowing it drops at night.
