I am a 11 year old boy who went to meadow lake twice, each time it got better. My first time was 4 months - second was 3 weeks. They really cared about my health and well-being. My favorite staff was really nice and since I was there on Christmas, we had a really great time. Please take my review and let it change your mind
I went here in 2021 and all I can say is that this place really traumatized it made my mental health a lot worse from when I arrived there I was put in a unit where both boy and girls were in the same room together but we’re not allowed to communicate together, we were unable to give each others social media just in case we. I cannot describe this hospital the way I want to because I don’t have the right words but I am going to say this. This hospital was ridiculous honestly, there was a nurse who got arrested for having m3th in her purse. All of the nurses except for 1 were so rude and hateful for no reason, my grandma couldn’t call me very often and when I told them about it they said I wouldn’t get to call her if I was dead. I have a granddaughter currently in here. They are not including her parents in any medication desicions regarding their daughter. The Dr only wants to give her one option and refuses to consider anything else. She is now being punished for being honest about her thoughts, without actions or plans of, by having a pass taken from her ; one that they have not told my granddaughter about.
