My son has ADHD and we have been working with Sofya to help us with his ADHD. She has been super helpful with ideas and strategies to help him with his behavior. We have been working together a few months now and we have seen improvement not just with our son, but our whole family dynamic. She is highly recommended.
The Integrative Therapy Institute is a very welcoming place that is currently helping me in so many ways. My therapist has done a wonderful job in making spaces feel open and supportive. Sofya has been a huge supportive pillar. She has so many resources for my needs and do not regret going to therapy at all. It has been one of the best things that have happened to me this year. I am so appreciative for her and this group.
Poor initial call/ intake process with the phone representative. She asked very intrusive and invasive screening questions that are not normally asked which I felt was unethical. They advertise they provide in person services but for only inexperienced therapist and they would not let me speak to a director or person in charge of facility who knows the therapists availability who provide in person as she clearly did not know. Was told they were accepting new patients, paid $109 for a 10 minute "intake" that they said they would use to match me to a counselor, and then I never heard back. Feels like I got scammed. Edit after response from the owner: Their response makes it sound like they tried to contact me and couldn't and refunded me because of that. They only gave me a refund and tried to contact me after I left my review.
My therapist charged me after I let them know I wouldn't be able to attend the appointment 24 hours in advance and then ghosted me a week later. Seriously disappointed and left a sour taste in my mouth. Absolute joke and I don't even want to consider therapy as an option anymore.
