Susan does a great job leading the Divorce Recovery Workshop. Working through the Rebuilding When Your Relaionship Ends book and meeting weekly with a group of people who understand the trials of ending a relationship has been very empowering and healing. Susan also plans regular outings which is great for bonding outside of class. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to reflect, grow and heal after a painful separation/divorce.
I participated in a 12-week divorce support group. It was a wonderful experience that I would definitely recommend. It was great to have a group of people that were going through or had been through the divorce process. The book and workbook that we completed were very helpful, but the connections were the key benefit.
Susan Lester MSW runs an extremely professional but friendly evening Divorce Recovery Group that is based on The Rebuilder's Workbook. It really helped me process the end of a long relationship in a supportive environment. Although anxious about the group process, I am glad I attended. I highly recommend this group for individuals dealing with separation and divorce.
Susan is an amazing counselor. She’s helping me heal from C-PTSD:When I asked my husband if he could see a change in me since starting counseling, his answer was a resounding “YES! Most definitely!” He said I was full of life, peaceful, joyful, more in touch with my emotions, you have normal “feelings” that are expressed over life incidents… even if you aren’t crying.
