What happened to this place, used to be so good.
I had been going to Integrated pain for well over 15+ years but I made the decision to leave when they hired this Jason Genco (NP)...he was the worst. He would not listen at all, he walked in the room & immediately started with stating that he would be lowering my meds because he didn't believe anyone should be on oxycodone except cancer patients & how he went to medical school & not to question him & the decisions he makes. I was a patient until they closed last month. The guy in the front office told inappropriate jokes and was open about his politics in the office which is not a good start. The doctor that I had apparently left 3 months before the closure and they did not tell anyone. All of a sudden I had this NP Carmen who's bedside manner was not the best but that was ok. IPC has lost another longtime patient because of Jason Genco. I’ve seen many providers here over the years and was always satisfied—until him. He was by far the worst NP I’ve dealt with. He gave misleading information, tried to justify poor practices as “normal,” and made me feel unheard. Thankfully, I found an excellent clinic that respects patients, doesn’t force procedures, fills medications on time, and actually listens. The difference is night and day. Reviews were consistently positive until the past couple of months, which coincides with Jason Genco, NP joining the practice. He has been the worst provider I’ve encountered. He is dismissive, interrupts constantly, rushes appointments, and shows little interest in patient history or concerns. He attempted to reduce a medication dosage I’ve been stable on for 9.5 years with no meaningful discussion, which felt judgmental and unsafe. I am in my 60’s and should feel comfortable at this age.
