My doctors
I have been seeing Dr.Nicolette Owens who has been absolutely amazing! She is engaged with my health and always listens! Now if they could fix the front desk staff that would be awesome!
I called IMS Care Center - Primary Care - Phoenix three times in one week to get Dr. Drury to return my call because my medicine was making me very sick to my stomach. Never got a call back. no one ever responded.
I like my doctor and nurses and everything, however this place seems like its very understaffed with the front desk. I try calling, no one picks up the phone. Long wait line just to check into your appointment. I know its not the workers fault they are just doing their best, but whoever is managing the place needs to hire more staff because this is just infuriating.
You dont see a MD, you see a nurse practitioner. And in AZ there is a lot of leeway for a NP to try to diagnose anything even though its out of their comfort zone. If you have a cold or flu fine. Anything else you're on your own. Even if you see a specialist at IMS family practice, they do not communicate with each other. And back to the NP who thinks they know how to diagnose and prescribe treatment. I suggest going to a practice that is actually 'integrated" and the person directing the treatment is a MD.
