Our history at Integrated Eyecare can be traced back to 1937 when Bend was but a "small village." Dr. Herbert Carpenter Staples established our practice in November of 1937. He eventually sold the practice to a "local boy who made good" in 1953 when Dr. Donald O. Schuman returned to Bend after graduation from Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Schuman practiced for 29 years in Bend before he was recruited by Pacific University to teach in the College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Had my annual eye exam and WOW. These guys have it dialed in. Dr. Swihart spent 30 minutes examining my eyes and providing explanations on each step. Very thorough and professional. Highly recommend this business.
All the staff makes you feel very welcome! I go there for annual pilot eye exams and Dr. Swihart was very knowledgeable and attentive not only about the eye exam but also had in depth knowledge about my aviation specific requirements.
Seriously amazing. Dr. Swihart is incredible with my kids. I totally recommend Integrated Eyecare!
If you are looking for an optometrist that is thorough, patient and competent I would recommend Dr. Lasater! I purchased glasses and wanted to try contact lenses and the team was so supportive and helpful. The eyeglass selection is super tasteful and I found the perfect glasses with the help of Christy. I would highly recommend the Integrated Eyecare team.
