Our history at Integrated Eyecare can be traced back to 1937 when Bend was but a "small village." Dr. Herbert Carpenter Staples established our practice in November of 1937. He eventually sold the practice to a "local boy who made good" in 1953 when Dr. Donald O. Schuman returned to Bend after graduation from Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Schuman practiced for 29 years in Bend before he was recruited by Pacific University to teach in the College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. The eye exam at Integrated Eyecare was very thorough. I was impressed with how organized they were. And wait times were minimal. Dr. Lasater was communicative and patient, answering all my questions and providing me with helpful information. I'm grateful to have discovered them.
I have been having my eye care done by Integrated Eyecare for a couple of years now and they have always been top notch. Scheduling is quick and efficient and the doctors have been caring, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend them!
Front desk is amazing. One of the reasons this clinic has so many high reviews, but there is a lot the doctors can work on. It only takes a second to put on gloves. Glasses that are new and have not been touched other then the frames should never be handed back to the patient like this... Finger prints were underneath the prisms as well.
From scheduling to eye exam to checking out, it was a 5 star experience. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The optometric technician was super friendly and very communicative, Dr Swihart was friendly, relaxed, and knowledgeable, and check out was a breeze.
