My experience was very favorably Dr Schreiber who I first saw was great and his nurse and the MOH surgeon in chesapeake was super along with his nurse
I felt completely dismissed by Intergrated Dermatology of Tidewater. I was seeing PA Lane on my initial visits with IDT. She was at least trying to help me with my itchy Summer skin. Prescribing steroids, creams, and building a treatment regimen. As someone who works in healthcare, I understand that insurance likes to see treatments trialed, and failed before paying for extreme procedures. Speaking of the Chesapeake location here. First off, trying to make/change/cancel an appointment takes too much of MY time. Most calls to their call center, no one is "available" so you are transferred to voice mail. And calls are then never returned. Even emails go unanswered. I saw Julie Johnson a handful of times. I just learned from another dermatologist yesterday that she misdiagnosed my skin condition so all of the money and time I spent over 6 months on prescriptions were a waste. Had an appointment to get some things checked out for my skin, got 3 different prescriptions and they only sent one to my pharmacy, called multiple times trying to see where the other prescriptions were, or if they can just resend it. they never call back and never answer to phones either. Not a pleasant place to get treated at.
I called to request office costs and first availability, but they would only give me their availability once I provided a deposit. Unsure why I can’t find the earliest availability before I enter my credit card information.
